Rice cakes

Rice cakes


150g Sugar
100g softened margarine
3 eggs
3 tablespoons milk at room temperature
100 g of wheat flour
100 g of rice flour
1 teaspoon baking powder for cakes
fine zest of 1 orange house
+ Qs sugar to the surface

parchment paper cut into strips of 15 cm by 6 cm
hoops for rice cakes

Notes: If you do not have the proper hoops for these cakes can only use the strips of parchment paper, then should staple them not to open and support the mass within.


Beat the margarine with the sugar, grease the eggs, orange zest, milk, until a homogeneous mixture.
Sift flour with baking powder and add gradually to the above mixture beating constantly so that it is well mixed.

Preheat oven to 180 °.

Prepare the molds of parchment paper, place them inside the metal rim (forms for rice cakes), line the baking sheet with parchment paper too, or you can just untar it with margarine and sprinkle with a little flour .

Pour the batter into each form (already with parchment paper), and finish with a little sugar, not spreading, it should be in clumps.

Bake about 30 minutes, you may want to watch, varies from oven to oven.

Notes: Render 8 to 9 units.
No need to fill the forms of tracing paper to the top.
